Of the 12 airless and pump bottle suppliers we profile in Malaysia, only three mould bottles themselves: Kembangan Plastik, Panwrite and Plasticmate. Seven are stockists or importers selling catalogue stock, and two are unclear. For a first launch, a stockist is usually the right call: small quantities, fast dispatch, printing on stock bottles. Move to a manufacturer when you need your own shape, mould control or steady volume.

Manufacturer vs stockist: what the difference is
A manufacturer runs blow- or injection-moulding machines and turns resin into bottles and closures in its own factory. A stockist (trader, wholesaler or importer) buys finished bottles, usually from overseas factories, warehouses them in Malaysia and sells them in smaller lots, often with printing or hot-stamping added. Many stockist sites also say "manufacturer", so we classified on evidence, not self-description.
Why it matters
- MOQ. Stockists sell by the pack; Mizitco sells airless bottles in packs of 50 (company-stated). A custom mould only pays off at volume: Botolhotspot's custom tiers run from 3,000 pieces (acrylic) to 10,000 (PET/PP), company-stated.
- Customisation. A stockist decorates stock bottles; only a manufacturer changes the shape.
- Lead time. Stock ships in days (Glass & Plastic quotes 2–3 working days for small orders, company-stated). Custom tooling takes months.
- Consistency. A stockist's next container may come from a different overseas batch, so colour, pump output and fit can drift between reorders.
- Mould ownership. Pay for a custom mould and the contract should say you own it and can move it.
A research finding on airless mechanisms
An airless bottle relies on a precision piston-and-pump assembly. In our research we found no public evidence of any Malaysian company moulding the airless pump mechanism locally. The three manufacturers mould bottles and closures used with pumps; every airless range we saw, including theirs, looks like catalogue stock, and no supplier states where its airless units are made. This covers public websites and registry data checked on 26 September 2026 — ask suppliers directly.
How we chose and classified
We searched in English and Malay and checked the MPMA directory. Each listed company has a Malaysian address, an identifiable registered business and a live site offering cosmetic airless or pump bottles. Manufacturer means the registered activity (SSM data via CTOS previews) includes manufacturing and a machine or process list is published. Stockist means a trading, wholesale or import activity, or the company's own words ("ready stock", "wholesaler", "manufacturing facilities overseas"). Unclear means conflicting or missing evidence. We did not visit factories or audit quality systems.

A broad southern catalogue: 19 airless SKUs from 3 to 100 ml plus 53 pump and sprayer SKUs, with silkscreen and custom moulds (company-stated). Best for: Johor and Singapore-side brands wanting wide stock. Not ideal for: buyers who need published MOQs, lead times or certificates.
2. Botolhotspot Sdn Bhd

Evidence: registered activity is import/export and wholesale; it calls itself a "pemborong & pembekal".
The clearest order tiers in this list. Its custom page states 100 pieces for printing on stock bottles, then 3,000 (acrylic), 5,000 (glass) and 10,000 (PET/PP) for custom moulds (company-stated). Airless covers 24 listings in PP, acrylic and aluminium, plus an airless soft tube. Best for: founders wanting printed airless now and custom moulds later. Not ideal for: small brands needing custom PET/PP shapes.
3. DSM Packaging Sdn Bhd
City: Kepong, Kuala Lumpur · Type: Stockist · Website: www.dsmpackaging.com
Evidence: registered activity is trading of beauty packaging; no factory evidence supports the site's "manufacturing" wording.
A large Klang Valley airless catalogue: about 32 SKUs from 5 to 120 ml. Silk, UV and pad printing carry a 300-piece MOQ, only on containers bought from DSM (company-stated). It sits in the Fabullite group, a Kepong contract manufacturer. Best for: KL brands wanting printed airless, possibly with formula OEM. Not ideal for: buyers needing mould control or lead-time figures.
4. Glass & Plastic Packaging Sdn Bhd

Small orders take 2–3 working days, larger ones 1–2 weeks (company-stated). Best for: small brands wanting maximum choice across three regions. Stock items ship the same day (company-stated). Best for: brands wanting airless, pumps and a future custom mould from one supplier. Buyer checkpoint: the site cites ISO 9001:2008, withdrawn in 2018 — ask for the current certificate, and whether the airless line is made in-house.

Best for: Kedah and Penang brands and essential-oil sellers buying small packs. Not ideal for: larger airless sizes or decoration.

Evidence: registered activity is wholesale of cosmetics packaging; the site says its items "are stock lines".
A retail-style e-shop with 10 airless listings, 5–150 ml, at posted prices of RM1.40–3.90 per piece, plus pump, spray, foam and mousse-spray bottles. West Malaysia delivery takes 3–7 working days (company-stated). Best for: micro-brands and formulators testing a few bottles. Not ideal for: custom work; East Malaysian buyers should confirm delivery, as its shipping page is inconsistent.
8. NCK Plastic Packaging Sdn Bhd

Evidence: registered activity is dealing in plastic packaging; the site says it grew "from a packaging supplier".
A small airless range (five families, 15–50 ml) with materials stated: rotary airless pumps and sprays in PP, and a DD series with an AS body and PP head. Best for: Klang Valley start-ups that want to know exactly which material touches the formula. Not ideal for: sizes above 50 ml or firm MOQs ("flexible" is all it states).

Evidence: registered activity includes manufacturing plastic bottles; it publishes a blow, injection and decoration facility list (company-stated).
The only manufacturer here stating current ISO 9001:2015 (company-stated; also in the MPMA directory). It moulds bottles and caps, designs custom moulds from 2D/3D drawings (company-stated) and sells foam pumps (30–43 mm), pumps (28/32 mm) and trigger sprayers with matching bottles. Best for: growing hand-wash, shampoo and body-care lines needing locally moulded pump bottles. Not ideal for: airless serums; no airless range was found.

A pump-and-spray specialist rather than an airless supplier: spray and pump bottles from 15 to 500 ml, pump heads and a 200 ml foam pump, with in-house printing and hot-stamping (company-stated). Airless is one listing with no specifications. Best for: northern brands wanting locally moulded, decorated pump bottles. Buyer checkpoint: its ISO claim is ISO 9001:2008 from 2011, a standard withdrawn in 2018 — ask for the current certificate.

Best for: first-time founders wanting packaging, decoration and formula from one small team. Not ideal for: buyers who need registry-verifiable credentials or published MOQs.
Which supplier type suits your brand stage?
- Testing a formula: buy a few pieces at posted prices from an online stockist (My Packaging, Mizitco).
- First launch: a stockist that prints on stock bottles — Botolhotspot (100-piece print MOQ) or DSM Packaging (300), both company-stated. Glass & Plastic for unprinted stock or refills.
- Proven SKU, regular reorders: lock in one batch source, or move pump bottles to Kembangan, Panwrite or Plasticmate, where one factory controls production.
- Signature shape or volume in the tens of thousands: commission a custom mould from a manufacturer and put mould ownership in writing. For airless, expect the pump itself to still be imported.

Buyer checklist before you order
- Test compatibility with your formula. Fill samples, hold them warm and cool for several weeks, and check for piston sticking, leakage, discolouration and pump failure. Oils and high-alcohol formulas attack some plastics.
- Request samples from the batch you will receive. None of the 12 publishes a sample policy, so ask.
- Choose PP, AS or acrylic deliberately. PP is tough and chemically resistant; AS is glass-clear but less tolerant of some oils; acrylic gives a premium thick wall, usually as a shell over a PP inner. Ask which material touches the product.
- Decide on refillable now. Refills need a matching inner cartridge; only Glass & Plastic's ZE series publishes one.
- Get the printing MOQ in writing. It differs from the bottle MOQ and varies by method.

Is there an airless pump bottle manufacturer in Malaysia?
In our research, checked on 26 September 2026, we found no public evidence of any Malaysian company moulding the airless pump mechanism locally. Kembangan Plastik, Panwrite and Plasticmate mould bottles and closures in Malaysia, and Kembangan sells a 20-SKU airless range, but no supplier states where its airless pump and piston are made. If local manufacture matters to your brand, ask the supplier in writing.
What is the minimum order for airless bottles in Malaysia?
There is no standard figure; it depends on the supplier and on whether you buy stock, printed or custom bottles. When checked, Mizitco sold airless bottles in packs of 50, printing on stock bottles started at 100 pieces at Botolhotspot and 300 at DSM Packaging, and Botolhotspot's custom moulds ran from 3,000 to 10,000 pieces. All are company-stated, so confirm with a quotation.
Should a new skincare brand buy from a manufacturer or a stockist?
For most first launches, a stockist. Stockists sell small quantities, ship in days and can print your logo on a stock bottle, so you are not paying for tooling before the product has proven itself. A manufacturer makes sense once you have steady reorders, need a unique shape or want one factory controlling consistency. If you commission a custom mould, get mould ownership written into the contract.
Which is better for airless bottles: PP, AS or acrylic?
PP is the practical default: durable, resistant to most cosmetic ingredients and cheaper. AS looks glass-clear but can be less tolerant of some oils and solvents. Acrylic gives a premium, heavy feel and usually works as an outer shell around a PP inner. The right choice depends on your formula, so run a compatibility test with filled samples and ask which material contacts the product.
