For manufacturer reviews, every listed company is assessed using a consistent evaluation framework. This helps make comparisons clearer, more structured and more useful for buyers looking for reliable beauty, skincare, personal care and related OEM manufacturing partners.
How We Score Manufacturers
Each manufacturer is reviewed across five main criteria.
1. Compliance & Certifications
We review available information related to regulatory readiness, product notification support, GMP, ISO 22716, Halal certification and other relevant certifications.
Where possible, certification details are checked against issuing bodies, official databases or supporting documents provided by the manufacturer.
For Malaysian manufacturers, we also cross-check company names against the official NPRA / MOH Registry of licensed cosmetic manufacturers (National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency, Ministry of Health Malaysia). Listings found in this public registry are marked accordingly on their profile page.
2. Manufacturing Capability & R&D
We assess the manufacturer’s production capabilities, formulation strength, in-house laboratory support, product categories, customization options and ability to support OEM or ODM product development.
This may include skincare, cosmetics, personal care, fragrance, hair care, health-related products, home care products or other relevant manufacturing categories.
3. Quality Control & Product Safety
We review the company’s quality control process, batch testing practices, stability testing support, documentation standards, traceability system and overall approach to product safety.
Manufacturers with clear QC procedures, stronger documentation practices and better traceability are rated more positively.
4. Business Transparency
We assess how clearly the manufacturer communicates important buyer information, including MOQ, lead time, pricing structure, packaging requirements, development timeline, payment terms and document availability.
Transparent communication is especially important for new brand owners, retailers and international sourcing teams.
5. Track Record & Market Experience
We consider the company’s years of operation, product experience, export markets, buyer feedback, industry reputation and publicly available business information.
Where available, verified customer references, buyer comments, past project experience and market presence are also considered.

OEMHallmark uses a combination of publicly available information, manufacturer-submitted details, official registries, certification records, company websites, business directories and structured buyer feedback.
Depending on the country and listing type, our references may include business registration records, regulatory databases, certification bodies, official company information, industry directories, public sources and supporting documents provided by manufacturers.
Manufacturer-submitted information is reviewed before a listing is marked as Verified. A Verified status does not mean endorsement. It means the listing information has gone through an additional checking process based on the information available to OEMHallmark.
Editorial Independence
OEMHallmark reviews and scores are editorially independent.
Manufacturers cannot pay to change their score, ranking or editorial verdict.
Our goal is to provide useful, balanced and practical information for buyers, not promotional claims.
The directory is listed alphabetically by company name and can be filtered by country, product category and certification. Listing position is not a ranking, does not reflect payment, partnership or preference, and cannot be bought.
Who runs OEMHallmark
OEMHallmark is operated by a team active in the ASEAN cosmetics OEM/ODM industry — based in Singapore, with an office in Malaysia. This gives us firsthand knowledge of the sector.
We apply the same evaluation criteria to every listing; we do not sell ranking positions; and our themed “top” lists are ordered alphabetically by company name. We encourage every buyer to verify a manufacturer independently — through official registries, certifications and direct contact — before making a decision.
Keeping Information Updated
Each listing and review includes a last-updated date where applicable.
We periodically review key information such as certifications, business details, manufacturing capabilities and public records. However, manufacturer information can change over time.
We welcome corrections, updates and supporting documents from manufacturers, buyers and industry professionals. All correction requests are reviewed before changes are made.
